5. Tony Esposito
Tony Esposito was a legendary goalkeeper who enjoyed a career that spanned nearly two decades from 1967 to 1984. In 1969-70, his first full year with the team, Esposito was nearly flawless, setting an NHL record with 15 shutouts in goal.
He was inducted into the National Hockey Hall of Fame in 1988, after posting a combined .903 save percentage over his long and storied career in Chicago.

4. Jonathan Toews
Jonathan Toews and another member of this list seized the mantle of the present-day Blackhawks and turned the 2000s into the golden age of Chicago hockey. Winning 3 Stanley Cups in his career so far as well as adding numerous awards for his play, the current Blackhawks centre has certainly lived up to the expectations that come with being a number 3 overall pick in the draft.

3. Bobby Hull
The man known as the "Golden Jet" certainly had a storied career, playing for Blackhawks among a few other teams. Throughout his career as a forward in NHL, Hull was known as a prolific scorer, winning the Art Ross Trophy 3 times for being the league's best scorer, and the Hart Memorial Trophy, given to the league's best overall player, twice.

2. Patrick Kane
The other part of the duo that helped spur the Blackhawks on to 3 titles in a single decade, Patrick Kane is known as one of the best winger/forwards in NHL history. The first American-born player to win the Art Ross Trophy, Kane put up a nearly unfathomable 106 points in the 2015-16 season, a year in which he also won the MVP.

1. Stan Mikita
Stan Mikita is regarded as the best player in the NHL throughout the entire decade of the 1960s and one of the best of all time. In only his second year in the league, he led the Blackhawks to their 3rd Stanley Cup title and would go onto have a career that most players can only dream of.
In the 60s, the Slovakian-born centre was known not only for his defense and face-off ability but for his scoring, as he led the league 4 times in the decade.
Mikita was deservedly voted into the National Hockey Hall of Fame in 1983 and his contributions to Chicago sports lore will not soon be forgotten.
