Measuring Your Head for a Fitted Hat:

1. Find a flexible tape measure: A cloth tape measure works best, but a string and ruler can also be used.
2. Measure the circumference of your head: Place the tape measure around your head, just above your eyebrows and ears. Make sure it's level all the way around.
3. Record the measurement: Write down the number in inches or centimeters to the nearest eighth of an inch or millimeter.
4. Compare to hat size chart: Most hat brands have a size chart that corresponds to head circumference measurement. Match your measurement to the closest size on the chart.
5. Try the hat on: If possible, try the hat on before purchasing to ensure a comfortable fit. Adjust the hat if necessary by using the strap or buttons in the back.
